9th of June was a the day combining different approaches to give participants a multifaceted perspective over their choices to adjust their lifestyle and choose, combine, cook and eat healthy food . This part of the conference brought forward Maciej Kucharski (20) Maciej Kucharski | Facebook, Physician with diabetes type I, Health Educator, Poland, Mihail Balaban (20) Facebook -culinary nutritionist and Silvia Albu – personal development trainer to complete the education and research strands of D-PATH with a lecture, cooking show and personal development exercise.
The Cooking show with Mihail Balaban, culinary nutritionist - included educational, research and practical parts, i.e. 1. Carbohydrates, friends or foes 2 (training) 2 Sugar perception in different foods based on strawberries (research and evaluation) 3. introduction to the lunch menu and interaction with participants over lunch (practice).
All inputs of the day will be published in different DPATH brochures concerning training and research to be disseminated online or via contact with the project coordinator Magdalena Par.
