Goals: • Providing recipients with information regarding: - the essence, mechanism, risk factors and causes of diabetes, - methods of diagnosing and treating diabetes, - causes, symptoms, treatment and complications of diabetes
• Equipping participants with skills in the field of: - recognizing acute complications of diabetes: hypoglycemia, hyperglycemia - assessment of glycemia level: measurement on a glucometer, interpretation of the results indicated by the sensor 17 - procedures in the event of hypoglycemia in a conscious person and with impaired consciousness - pen handling Forms of implementation: 1.
