The D-PATH project made partners and participants feel encouraged to sign letters of intention for new projects focused on benefits for people with diabetes, families, educators and others interested. Therefore those present at the Final Conference in Romania discussed and agreed on the contents and Magdalena Pardel Trefler drafted it.
The letter became official when signed on the 9th of June 2023 by Magdalena Pardel –Trefler on behalf of 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁ion 𝗪𝘆𝗺𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗞𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗷 𝘁𝗼𝗧𝗨 𝘁𝗼 𝗧𝗔𝗠, 𝗣𝗿𝘇𝗲𝗺𝘆𝘀́𝗹, 𝗣𝗼𝗹and on one side and on the other side by Liliana Moldoveanu representing Sweet Land Association - Constanta, Romania, Ramona Truta President of Glice - Cluj, Romania, Nicoleta Stamate Deputy Director of Ana Aslan College- Braila, Romania and Alina Sulicu, Director of the County Heritage Centre, Braila, Romania .
It means that in the next 5 years partners vow to achieve cooperative projects such as : experience exchange for youth and adults with diabetes, international camps, etc.
Cooperation is open as of now.
This Letter of Intent forms the framework for co-operation between the Parties to identify and achieve shared goals and objectives as well as to facilitate and develop a genuine and mutually beneficial exchange process and relationship. It is non-binding and does not impose any legal or financial obligations or liabilities on either Party. Specific terms concerning execution of exchange activities and financial arrangements will be regulated in separate written agreements.
This Letter of Intent shall remain in effect for 5 years, unless (i) either Party terminates it sooner by notifying the other Party in writing, or (ii) the joint activities contemplated by this Letter of Intent are completed before the end of the 5-year period. The Parties may extend this Letter of Intent beyond 5 years by mutual written agreement.
Each Party shall designate a person to serve as liaison for implementing this Letter of Intent.
